Before I knew it, it has already been 20 years since I started my business. Early this morning, I received a message from a client on WeChat: “Ms. Yang, you truly care more about our cargo than we do ourselves. I want to thank you again and again for everything you have done for my shipment\u2026<\/strong>” Reading these few short lines filled my heart with warmth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without exaggeration, I am indeed an introverted person who is not good with words. My husband once joked that people like me are almost extinct on this planet because I am simply too kind-hearted. In fact, many of my personality traits come from my parents. It is their diligence, kindness, integrity, and courage that shaped who I am today<\/strong>. Ever since I can remember, I helped my family with farm work. I was never afraid of hardship or exhaustion. I could even compete with adults when it came to cutting grass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After graduating from university, I was assigned a stable government job in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, which my parents considered an “iron rice bowl<\/strong>.” However, the gap between life in the ivory tower and reality was too great, and I was unwilling to settle. After much consideration, I chose to go to Shenzhen to work, determined to carve out a world of my own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After several years of hard work, I finally had some savings. With my husband’s support, I founded Sunny Worldwide Logistics. Over the past 20 years, we have served tens of thousands of companies of all sizes. Many clients have remained loyal to us through the years. I once asked Mr. Wang, manager of Guangzhou Zhongzhihao and one of our diamond-level clients, why he had worked with us for so long. He said that Sunny Worldwide Logistics provides excellent service, always thinks from the client’s perspective, is willing to make sacrifices, and works diligently and practically. He said that when clients entrust their cargo to us, they feel completely at ease. “More committed than the shipper<\/strong>” has always been our core service philosophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our clients work extremely hard to prepare their shipments, and we cannot allow logistics, a seemingly small link in the chain, to delay their delivery schedules. I remember a furniture factory in Dongguan, Changsheng Furniture, faced an urgent cutoff deadline. The customs cutoff was at noon the next day, and they asked us to arrange two 40HQ trucks, requiring the drivers to arrive at the factory at 2:00 a.m<\/strong>. To ensure punctuality, we arranged for the drivers to arrive at midnight. Due to quality issues at the factory, the containers were not fully loaded until 6:00 a.m. While the drivers rushed back on the expressway, our customs declaration staff had already started work early to prepare and submit the documentation. At 9:00 a.m., when customs opened, the declaration agent immediately submitted the paperwork. Concerned that customs inspections might delay the shipment<\/strong>, we also applied to the shipping line for an extended cutoff time. Through the coordinated efforts of multiple employees and close follow-up at every step, we successfully delivered the release documents to the shipping company’s designated location before noon, and the two 40HQ containers were loaded onto the vessel as scheduled. The factory owner was so moved that he called us personally to repeatedly express his appreciation and gratitude for our service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every time we solve a client’s problem and help their goods ship successfully, we feel a tremendous sense of accomplishment.<\/strong> The recognition from our clients and their repeat orders continue to motivate us to move forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have a client in Guangzhou who once entrusted us with arranging three 20-foot containers to JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia, shipped with EVERGREEN. The estimated transit time was 16 days. However, the client urgently informed us that the cargo had not arrived at the port. Unfortunately, this shipment consisted of specially customized floor tiles ordered for a Saudi military base<\/strong>. Both of us were as anxious as ants on a hot pan. We immediately called and emailed the shipping company to urgently locate the containers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Communication between shipping companies and destination ports is usually conducted via email, so responses often take at least a day. To save time, we followed up simultaneously with the shipping company in Shenzhen while calling the shipping company in Saudi Arabia. After explaining the seriousness of the matter, the local terminal immediately investigated and discovered that the three containers had not been unloaded and had instead been transported to Singapore<\/strong>. The shipping company assured us that once the containers arrived in Singapore, they would be placed on the fastest available vessel back to JEDDAH. We kept the client informed while actively communicating with the shipping companies in Shenzhen, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore. Ultimately, the cargo arrived at JEDDAH after 28 days. Although the client was understandably dissatisfied at the time, they witnessed our unwavering efforts and persistence throughout the entire process. Perhaps our responsible attitude was genuinely touching. Not only did the client continue working with us, but they have remained our partner from 2004 to this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our employees come from all over the country. Although Sunny Worldwide Logistics is not their home in the literal sense, more than 50% of our staff have worked with us continuously for five to thirteen years<\/strong>. They have built their lives in Shenzhen, buying homes and cars, getting married, and raising children. My husband and I treat them as our own children. We maintain high standards at work while supporting one another in life. Helping our employees settle down in Shenzhen and achieve home and car ownership has been one of the greatest sources of pride in the first half of my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
